76 Pleasant Street Restaurant operates year-round in the grand Colonial Revival known as the 1896 Judge William Jones house located in the heart of Norway. The elegant, comfortable dining rooms are the perfect setting for innovative cuisine combining local flavors with seasonal, affordable menus. Their focus is on the simplicity of fine ingredients and thoughtful presentations. With just 24 seats, the size is manageable for a couple just as the current owners operate. From the moment you step into the foyer with its dramatic chandelier, stunning original woodwork and curved staircase, you know this is a special place. The original twin front parlors of the mansion offer a sitting room with a fireplace to the left, 2 intimate dining rooms with fireplaces to the right with copper top tables and warm lighting. The house has 3 large suites on the 2nd floor with ensuite baths, fireplaces and a 3rd floor suite with bedroom, full bath, sitting room. This would be simple to start up B&B rooms as the new '76 Pleasant Street Inn and Restaurant'. The 3rd floor could be the owner's suite with 3 elegant B&B guest rooms on the 2nd floor.
